Old soul, new spirit: photographing a house portrait for a magazine is not an everyday occurrence (at least for me). So I was all the more excited about this photo project. Interior designer Aline Grasl-Gagern has brought a more than 250-year-old Streckhof, a traditional Burgenland building, back to life.

I staged this revitalized jewel for a home story in the magazine "Luxury Living" (Die Presse). The shooting day started with a very unusual early morning delivery, which resulted in an (unplanned) very color accentuated picture. The beautiful summer day kept its promise and allowed me to realize a wonderful photo series until dusk.

A photo from the series ended up gracing the cover of the magazine, and the story stretched over five pages - the perfect ending. Not only my client was delighted, but of course I was too 😉
