The refurbishment of Pavilion 29 of the Wilhelminenspital for Meissl Architects entered the next round. For the second time, they refurbished a ward with a new concept and colors.

After the renovation, the 4th Medical Department shines in a new light, the rooms are better grouped and work processes have been optimized. Patient comfort has been increased enormously: The number of beds in the rooms has been reduced, each room has an independent sanitary unit and all areas are now barrier-free. Last but not least, the new colors create a pleasant atmosphere for the recovery of the patients as well as a motivating working environment for the ward staff.
